This Fortune 500 Company is one of the largest distributors of Electronic components, computer products, and embedded technologies in the world, being established in over 70 countries. With offices in Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide this role offers you a fantastic opportunity to enhance your application knowledge across a range of diverse industries, supporting customers through their product cycles and creating new opportunities specifically in the area of Xilinx FPGAs. There is a position available in both Sydney and Adelaide.
Working together with Sales, the Xilinx Product Manager, and the FAE team, you will be responsible for promoting, servicing and selling products and services to your client base by using your technical expertise to respond to the clients’ enquiries and by demonstrating products and applications. Your problem solving skills will enable you to resolve customer issues, support them through the design cycle, and provide hands on training, maximizing the value you provide them. You will use your sales skills to qualify, develop, and target new prospective clients whilst routinely reviewing your sales strategies and performance.
You will have at least 4 years experience in a design engineering role which has developed your strong knowledge in HDL, Programmable Logic architecture and the implementation and timing closure flow. Your strong communication skills will allow you to work closely with your customers to develop and close your opportunities. Ideally you will also have some experience in one or two areas such as High Speed IO, Embedded processors, RTOS, C/C++ and some 3rd party tools such as ModelSim, HyperLynx, Matlab and Simulink.
