Pmod-RTCC (Pmod-RTCC)

The PmodRTCC is a Real-Time Clock/Calendar powered by the Microchip MCP79410.

The PmodRTCC can communicate using I2C via the 8-pin header J2. Digilent boards implement several different I2C interfaces and they are outlined in the “Connecting TWI Interfaces” document. The multi-function pin can be accessed via the two pin header J1.

  • Real-Time Clock/Calendar that can be backed up by a coin cell battery

  • Multi-Function Pin output that can generate a square wave
